Eagle Ford Shale Housing Breaks Ground


There’s work aplenty in the oilfields of South Texas, but nowhere for workers to stay.
Hotels are full, RV parks are sprouting like Kardashian reality shows and the entrepreneurs are paying attention to the buzz of activity in the Eagle Ford shale play.
A 96-unit apartment complex broke ground late last week in Carrizo Springs. Rent will start at $750 for a one-bedroom and go up to $1,495 for a three-bedroom unit.
